Take some of the work out of planning your next troop meeting! Our workshop explores how board games work, why we love them and the mechanics that make them fun. We'll test out some games for inspiration before Scouts put what they’ve learned into action by designing a board game of their own.
What to Expect
More about Badge Workshops
Our 60-minute workshop fulfills the requirements for the Daisy Mechanical Engineering: Board Game badge and partial requirements for the Brownie Making Games badge. We provide all game-making supplies (including a custom 3D printed stencil) and guide Scouts through exploring game mechanics before they create a playable prototype to take home. Each Scout also receives an exclusive Tabletop Society patch. Official Girl Scout badges are not included and should be purchased separately.
